Scholarships

At WNBF, we believe that education is a basic right and a powerful tool for changing lives. However, in South Sudan, many children and young people are unable to continue their education because of poverty, lack of school fees, uniforms, books, and other educational needs.

The WNBF Scholarship Program aims to support vulnerable and deserving students by giving them access to education and helping them achieve their goals.

Purpose of the Scholarship Program

The purpose of this program is to:

• support children and youth who cannot afford education,
• reduce school dropout rates,
• promote equal access to education,
• empower girls and vulnerable groups,
• and develop future leaders for South Sudan.

Why Scholarships Are Important in South Sudan

Many families in South Sudan struggle financially, making it difficult for children to remain in school. As a result:

• many students drop out early,
• girls are affected by early marriage,
• and many talented youth lose educational opportunities.

Through scholarships, WNBF seeks to give hope and opportunity to students who need support the most.

• talented and hardworking students,
• and youth seeking vocational or higher education opportunities.
